Random Thoughts

A couple of days ago, my third set of stickers was rejected. After regenerating several times, I found that characters like "嘞" and "哟," which have the口 radical, were not processed well. I gave up and replaced them with two new images, made some simple adjustments, and submitted again. If all goes well, the third set of stickers should be online in the next couple of days.

A few days ago, I was chatting with a Korean friend and thought, since we already support English, why not add support for Korean, Japanese, and Thai as well? I spent some time and managed to add support for these three languages.

Recently, I bought a screen recording software. Creating videos and editing screen recordings is quite exhausting. Is there a way to edit with one click? I made a 5-minute operation guide and a 40-second video, with the script mostly provided by GPT, and then I did the editing. The video has been uploaded to TikTok, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, and YouTube. So far, Xiaohongshu and TikTok have around 200 views, while Instagram and YouTube have almost no traffic, and I still don't understand the platform's algorithm mechanisms.

Then I wanted to test the conversion rate to see how willing users are to pay. I created discount coupons and tried Google Ads for promotion, but ended up getting a lot of traffic from Indian IPs. I then optimized the ad placements to exclude that region and will observe for two days to see if it can function normally.

Regarding the upcoming iterations:

Currently, I'm quite conflicted about whether to open up custom prompt input and how to provide it. Some users have been asking if they can customize stickers. The main issue with customization is that if users write prompts that aren't professional enough, it's hard to produce good images. For example, it took me a long time to optimize the prompt for my current set of images to reach the current quality, but it still falls short of expectations.

Additionally, I'm debating whether to include scene sets in the system, like "daily life of workers." There are quite a few points I'm conflicted about lately, so I might as well take a break from thinking.

Others

These days happen to be the end of the month, and with the holidays in Thailand, I'm planning to go to Hua Hin for two days to clear my mind before thinking about these matters again. Yesterday, I went to the immigration office since my visa is expiring next month. The people at the school suggested that if I plan to stay in Thailand long-term, I might consider learning Thai, as the visa duration for Thai language courses is relatively long. I haven't decided yet, but Thai is indeed quite interesting. I studied Thai for two months before, but I've mostly forgotten it now, so if I decide to learn, I'll probably need to take classes again.
